DOCUMENTARY FOR ANESTHESIA IN CHINA TAILOR MADE - Video Production

A documentary on the development of anaesthesiology in China. From Hua Tuo's use of mafeisan for surgery in the Eastern Han dynasty, China's anaesthesia expertise has continued to advance over a millennium, approaching that of developed nations. Produced at a cost of over a million and shot on location from south to north and as far as Lhasa, Tibet, it took a year to complete. (Please note: contains some surgical footage.)
